For our latest VW T5 interior project the customer required us to manufacture and fit the interior and bed system only. Choosing a cooker only setup and colour that matched their Sailing boat, the customer chose this lime green with black worktops. They selected the Smart Bed Standard bed system with a non VW hexagon grey fabric.
In stock – Weekend Pod with Dometic cooker and sink.
Designed with a door, which can be removed to house a fridge if preferred, otherwise can be used for storage.
Finished in Oak with a clear lacquer finish.

Our Ki Westy Available at Busfest to buy.
We will have the Ki Westy in Oak veneer ready for you to fit into your camper available at Busfest at a very special show price – one only available – RHD.
The interior will include the tall Wardrobe unit with drop down cooker, side buddy box and sink unit with fridge space under, space for water container, cold water tap and includes the Dometic double hob and glass topped Dometicsink.
Dave came to see us at the Busfest show looking for an interior to fit with a full width rock and roll bed. He had considered the weekend unit but wanted more space and retaining the classic camper styles but with a modern twist.
After much thought and discussion they decided upon our KI Westy Deluxe interior which we had displayed on stand at the VW show, but rather than the traditional oak which always proves to be very popular they decided to go Classic and go with an off white colour but retaining the oak veneer tops.
This is such a lovely restored example of a Splitscreen – carefully restored and done as it should be without cutting corners…

You have decided to buy a Volkswagen Transporter and convert it to a campervan – there are so many options to consider, the trim level, engine, gross weights? So where do you start?
Volkswagen introduced three main levels of trim some years ago, Startline being the base model, Trendline and HighLine and although over the years the spec has changed slightly the Highline boasts the highest spec of all three with Colour coded bumpers, Alloy wheels, Aircon, upgraded stereo, leather steering wheel and so on…
Then we have Gross Weight – What is that you may ask? Well is it the maximum operating weight recommended by the manufacturer, including the vehicle, drivers, passengers and any contents/luggage. This is referred to as T26, T28…T32 etc T28 = 2800kg and T30 = 3000kg – you get the idea!
Finally, one of the main things I hear from people is that the engines are all the same??? Well yes they are 2.0 engines but its the horsepower you want to consider. Many ex fleet vans are 102 or 104 BHP and some converters choose this engine as it tends to be much cheaper to buy, but our preference is the 140 BHP or as the new T6 has 150 BHP – it has that little bit more poke and doesn’t struggle like some of the lower BHP models.
