Just when we thought it was going to be a bit quiet on the magazine features after Nathan’s in December and Phil’s Samba in May – Bob popped over to say Hi at Stanford Hall Vw show and let us know that his T4 Gulf van is featured in this months VWt Magazine (vwtmag.com)
Bob came to us originally for a single unit down one side of his Variotech Bed system, which we custom built to his specifications, 2 years later, Bob came to see us in Cornwall and ordered a custom built cooker unit for the rear of his van…you can see these shots in the magazine

3/4 interior, 3/4 rock and roll, For Sale, Stanford Hall VW
Hi Guys, its that time again when our favourite VW show is counting down….Stanford Hall VW show.
Its a great show and we will have a customer T5 van on stand, we will have our own T28 140bhp Olympian Blue (conversion in progress) on stand, we hope to have the conversion on this van ready by July, so we’re happy to take a deposit to secure this van. Approx 11,000 miles from new, remaining Volkswagen warranty, will be taxed till May 2014. Chrome side bars, Brand New alloy wheels/tyres and will sport a new Kustom Interiors 3/4interior including Smart Bed 3/4 bed system.
Because the main interior has not been started on this van, it means the buyer can decide on the colour scheme and upholstery.
We will also have our own Fiat Ducato Campervan (Sorry to swear…) available to view on request, see what can be done on a grander/larger scale to perhaps your next Crafter! We’ve also incorporated some new ideas into the Ducato which we hope will find its way into our T5 range of furniture.

Well the final stages of the Ducato Conversion are near, and will be on stand at the Stanford Hall VW Show along with a client’s Volkswagen T5. I have to say that the conversion looks fantastic and I cant wait to put it through its paces before putting the model into production for other clients.

We’ve introduced a couple of new features, that we havent used in the T5’s – however we’re looking at new options for our VW T5 Interiors, so watch this space.
The Ducato is designed as a 2berth – comfortably, there is seating for 4 – but the design is for those people that have had a smaller camper and are looking for that little more comfort, a bit more space and height. We’re currently planning on a name for the conversion…ideas on a postcard!
For our own use, we wanted a fixed bed, but also a separate seating area we could sit around a table at. The Design meets that excellently
We’ve introduced a Waeco 80litre fridge, Smev combined sink and Hob, extra large wardrobe space and microwave/grill. In addition to the 2 swivel seats we’ve introduced a new seat system from RIB. There’s mountains of storage, head height and under bed, with a slide out area in the rear for the gas BBQ!!!

2014 bookings
I know we’re only into April 13, so I thought i’d let you know that we are currently taking bookings into 2014, so if you have a renovation planned and want to provisionally book a slot with us to ensure you get your bus done in time for spring, nows the time to get in touch.

Well, another project is on its way to completion, Paul contacted us some time ago while his bay was being restored, he popped down to the workshop and took a look at some of our interiors. A few months later Paul booked in with us to transform his camper with our signature camper interior.

Bluemotion, Busfest
Well a sad day, we have waved goodbye to our Silver VW T5 this afternoon, but the good news is that its gone to a nice guy, new to camping, so i’m sure it will be cherished as much as we have enjoyed using it.
Now it leaves us with our new project van, the 114bhp Bluemotion to convert to our next show van, hoping to have this ready for Busfest later this year, but we’ll see as it been extremely busy with new customer orders and recommendations
