Smart Beds invented the first Smart Bed in 2008 to create a system that was both safe and genuinely user-friendly. Their pioneered use of Gas Strut assistance and the proprietary Reclining Mechanism has made them the market leader, often emulated but never bettered.

There is a Smart Bed for virtually any vehicle, including the VW T4/T5/T6/T6.1, Transit, Vivaro, and Mercedes, available in (M1) tested or non-tested formats, and for Rail System or Fixed Position installation.

This comes with added benefits of a reclining backrest, FABFIX (ISOFIX) ECE R145, fitting holes on the side panel base to mount a drawer system (we can only supply the runners  but the drawer body would still need building) and finally integrated headrest structure to comply with ECE R17.

The VanWurks 3/4 & full Width Rock and Roll frame has been designed with ease of installation in mind.  The simple ‘rock and roll’ action, means the back seat of your camper can be converted into a fully operational bed in a matter of seconds aided by the ‘easy pull’ handles on the base frame. The open base frame has no obstructing vertical supports beneath and therefore provides excellent under seat storage, also essential when installing a Propex heater.  Available to fit Split Screen, T2 Bay Window and T25 campers in both right and left hand drive.  Bed boards and other optional items are also available.
