Camper Interior questions (FAQ)

What are your lead times
Please call us for current lead times.  What we do guarantee is, we will never take an order that we can’t fulfil within the agreed timescales, just to get your order – we’ve delivered 100% on time, although try to deliver earlier if possible.

If you require an interior within a certain time frame, contact us as we will always try and accommodate your timescales, although this may not be possible during peak times.

Due to the lengthy process,  we allow up to 5 weeks completion times for Spray finishes.

Can you make units to fit any size or shape?
Yes, If you can provide your dimensions and an idea of the design you are after we can manufacture it for you.

Can you fit the units for us?
Yes – We now offer a fitting service.  We also offer a full interior fit for transporter t5 conversions including carpet lining, insulation, flooring and electrics, or our template and test fit service for T4/T5 conversions.

If you choose our template only service, we require that your vehicle is fully lined and carpeted, your bed fitted and flooring in place.

Do you connect up and install LPG / Gas
Gas installations and Gas Safe certification is now available, subject to availability, as an optional extra upon request.  Service is carried our by an independent Gas Safe registered engineer.  if you choose to fit yourself please ensure Gas and LPG appliances are installed by an approved installers.

Do you replicate any particular styles?
We can replicate your favoruite layout, with our modern or traditional twist. Our Bay window show vehicle was based upon the 1972 Westfalia Continental and the T5 on our 3/4 unit and Surf bus styles. We have designed interiors inspired by the Curved Devon interior and we’ve also completed interiors for customers with Devon, Viking, Dormobile and Danbury campers.

Can you deliver or can I collect?
Most interiors, due to size are collection only, however can pass on the details of a local man/van courier service – we ask customers to contact the courier directly and arrange collection/delivery and packing.  We do not use a pallet service and will not pack your items.

Note please ensure you bring plenty of blankets/packing to ensure your interior is not damaged in transit.

Customers can collect Mon-Fri between 8am & 4pm, other times and Saturday am by arrangement only.

Collections can be arranged at  VW shows where we are attending subject to availability.

Can you supply new appliances
Yes, most of our interiors are supplied with new appliances, we can supply a range of Smev, Dometic, Spinflo,CAN, Sunngas or if you have a particular product in mind we will try and source this for you. Although we stock a range of appliances for all budgets.

We can from time to time supply original appliances but this is subject to availability.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?
Prices include VAT at the prevailing rate unless stated.

How do you accept Payment?
Cash on collection, or bank transfer is the preferable payment. However we can offer (subject to availability payment via credit or debit card. Payment attracts a 3% charge which will be added to your total.

Bank transfer is preferable with the balance – cash on collection.  We’re pretty rural and modern credit card machines just don’t seem to want to work at the workshop.

Paypal is available for deposits only and a charge of 3.5% of the total transaction will be charged (when available).  We request all funds are cleared before collection or delivery. Or Cash on collection/delivery accepted.

Please note that we can only accept CASH on collection – please allow 10 days prior to collection for other payments

We don’t have a VW but liked the quality of your units can you make units to fit our van?
Yes, if you supply us the sizes and dimensions we can create units for you. Or bring your van to our workshop. We can offer a test fit service.

What are your units manufactured from
Our units are manufactured mostly from special grade MDF, Ply or real wood veneer, unless stated. Although it does depend on the requirements.

We offer a spray and lacquer service please ask for details.  All interiors are supplied unsprayed/lacquered unless stated

We will also be offering our premier range of replica Splitscreen interiors which are built for each van individually and a range of materials are used to ensure they replicate the original interiors as close as possible. This includes to use of Real wood timbers.

Do you supply any accessories, such as awnings:
We can supply a full range of Fiamma accessories and awnings where available – please contact us for more details.
